I was kindly sent some products from ByTerry recently for my pro kit and these two bases in particular have definitely earned themselves worthy favourites!
By Terry Densiliss Foundation is definitely a luxury item at £76 a pop, and whilst there are other equally wonderful foundations out with a much smaller price tag, I do feel this is still pretty special and deserves a mention. So what makes a £76 foundation worth buying? It’s main offerings come in the form of several anti ageing benefits including smoothing, firming and correcting pigments which help even out skin tone. But Harry.. its still £76 I hear you shout!!! I know and its definitely a lot of money to spend but I think this will appeal to those who love ByTerry and those who really want to focus on anti ageing benefits within their makeup. The finish is like a satin matte but still youthful and radiant without a dewy sticky feeling and it still looks like skin. My only compliant is actually the smell, it’s not massively offensive but it could definitely smell better!
The second base that deserves a mention is By Terry Sheer Expert a much more natural looking base as the name would suggest. Squeezy tube..tick, Sheer coverage that is pretty fail safe to blend out…tick, matte but non drying…tick, adapts to all kinds of complexions…big tick!!!!! It’s just a really lovely sheer base that gives a your skin but better appearance. There’s not many foundations that lean towards the more matte side that I personally enjoy wearing, but this one was a joy to wear as it still felt very nourishing.
Have you tried any of the By Terry Foundations?
